Nothing beats a Diet Coke in glass

Whenever I ask for a Diet Coke at a restaurant, it always makes me happy when the server serves it in a 355ml glass bottle. It always reminds me of the time I lived in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan back in 1985-1987. I would come home from school (grade 6 & 7), grab my empty bottle from the day before and walk down the street past 3 houses and go into the corner store, which we nicknamed 'Dirty Pete' because Pete always knew what was going on with everyone. I would trade in my empty bottle for 15 cents and spend another 45 cents to buy a new pop for the evening.

Sometimes I would even buy some candy. Dirty Pete always had the best candy for a penny, nickel, dime, etc.
