Which Spice are you?

T and V, the jet-setters, flew from Ottawa to Toronto just to see the Spice Girls, but it also gave us a chance to wander around Sephora, and Queen St. W.

As for the concert, I must say, the Spice Girls do put on a very entertaining show. There were numerous costume changes and boy, did they ever sparkle. We could see Ginger’s shoes sparkle from our seats, which were 3rd row from the very, very top of the Air Canada Centre. It was amusing to watch their fans … young girls taking pictures of themselves with their new Spice Girls t-shirts, poses of themselves throughout the concert, and to watch their excitement as the Spice Girls sang and danced on the stage. There was also a group of four girls and each one dressed up as their favourite Spice, aww, Scary Spice was missing.

We spent the night at the Canadiana Backpackers Inn on 42 Widmer Street. I found it interesting when we checked in and were given sheets and towels and were told to go out the door, down the street to the house we were staying in. It seemed a little odd. Our room was on the first floor, near the door to the house. Guess who had to sleep on the bunk bed. Bunk Bed?!?!I’m a little old to be sleeping on a bunk bed. It was very noisy night in our house, especially in the morning with the doors opening and closing. Also, there was a washroom directly above our room and I had the privilege of hearing the toilet flush all night and morning. Next time, I say we should chip in the extra dough and get a decent hotel room.
