After 20+ years, my dream of seeing The Cure live in concert has finally come true. On May 14, 2008, Trixie and C travelled to Montreal to see The Cure play at the Bell Centre. It was a fantastic show and by far, the longest concert I have ever attended for a one act show. They played for three hours straight and probably would have gone on for a bit longer. Who knew, Robert Smith still had it in him. Robert Smith still looks the same with his teased hair, red lips and eyes done in black eyeliner. His voice is still amazing! The way he moved around the stage reminds me of my friend Xine.
It was definitely worth the money and the trip to Montreal. C and I reminisced about The Cure and other artists on our way to Montreal (thanks for the ride, C). It was great to know you better C and it was a fun trip. It's too bad S couldn't make it. He would have loved the show.
